How will we make a difference?

Real kids, real stories.

When our 7-year-old son was diagnosed with leukemia, we essentially became single parents. One of us stayed with him at Primary Children's while the other juggled work and getting the other kids off to school. We're forever grateful for the lifesaving treatment he received, but the distance with off-and-on hospital stays over the course of about 6 months made it that much harder on our family. Having a child-oriented cancer center closer to home would have been an enormous blessing.
